Homeopathic Medicine at Integrated Health Professionals Basingstoke Hampshire
What is Homeopathic Medicine?
A Homeopath prescribes small non-toxic doses of substances (animal, vegetable or mineral) which create an effect similar to the patient's symptoms. The aim of treatment is to trigger a natural counter-reaction by our healing mechanisms which can calm physical, emotional and mental symptoms. Treatment is given by pleasant tasting dissolving pills or liquid drops. A full health consultation explores all symptoms and sensitivities and a treatment to suit the individual is given from thousands of available remedies.
Why Homeopathy?
It is a gentle, non-toxic treatment which is suitable for babies, children, in pregnancy, the elderly and sensitive people. The aim of treatment is to improve mood, calm anxieties and sensitivities, improve sleep, get to the root cause of disease, and encourage the body's natural processes. Research shows that the effects of homeopathic treatment persist in the long-term.
In Alison's experience people with skin, allergy, immune system, digestion, mood, anxiety and sleep conditions respond well to homeopathic treatment. Please seek appropriate medical advice and ask your GP/consultant if you wish to reduce your medication. More information
